PRESENTATION: Data Equity Walks

Share to socials

In an effort to help build the capacity of civil rights groups, education advocates, parents, student leaders and community leaders to understand achievement and opportunity gap data, we’ve launched the Data Equity Walk program. The program is designed for users to dig deeper into data disparities that exist for students of color, low-income children, and foster youth. Through interactive activities and dialogue participants also use this time to discuss what the data means for their respective communities and how advocates can deepen their partnerships to further their impact. To date over 1300 advocates around the state have participated in this unique experience.
