Impact & Testimonials
The systemic equity review and blueprint process allowed our teams to create an equity plan aligned with our district’s policies.
Over the course of just a year and a half, we started to see a positive impact on graduation rates.
We partnered with EdTrust-West because we wanted to take a deep and honest look at equity across our schools—beyond test scores and enrollment data. Their three-phase approach guided us from reflection to action in a meaningful way. The systemic equity review was especially impactful, combining quantitative data with qualitative insights from focus groups. Hearing real stories from students, staff, and families revealed things that numbers alone could never show.
During the blueprint planning phase, we collaborated across departments to address barriers identified in the review. The facilitators were incredible—thoughtful, skilled, and attuned to the dynamics in the room. This work didn’t just produce a blueprint; it aligned with our School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation goals, creating a shared sense of ownership. Equity is now embedded in our culture, and multiple leaders are equipped to carry it forward.
