She provided mentorship and tutoring services and advocated for students to pursue higher education opportunities. Megan also interned at the Library of Congress and worked on various oral history projects that uplifted the experience of black students at Georgetown. Most recently, Megan worked at the Center for Intercultural Education and Development on State Department-funded international exchange programs. She worked with students from the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean on professional development and community advocacy.

Born and raised in California, Megan has deep roots in the East Bay and is excited to use her experience to give back to her community. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She majored in Culture and Politics, concentrating on politics, identity, and memory.
