PRESENTATION: State of California’s Black Students

EdTrust had the honor of presenting on the state of California’s Black students at the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans Summit hosted at UCLA. Launched in 2012 by President Obama, this White House Initiative seeks to improve student achievement through identifying and sharing evidence-based best practices. The Summit featured students, community members, and educators discussing their experiences in schools and colleges, sharing best practices around Black student engagement.
