Associate Director of P-16 Research
Since joining The Education Trust–West in 2013, Leni has led and contributed to research and policy analysis in various areas including English learners, school finance, and the teacher pipeline. She is a former classroom teacher who has taught in bilingual and other classroom settings. While earning her Master of Public Affairs degree at the University of Wisconsin, she worked as an Education Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Leni received her B.A. in Government and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College.
