Elizabeth has more than ten years’ experience working in both the fields of education and the environment. Most recently, Elizabeth worked at MDRC managing the Post-Secondary Education and Behavioral Science hiring, budgets, contracts, and grant reporting. In the field of education, Elizabeth directed a small foundation funding youth financial empowerment, wrote Head Start grants, and was a high school English teacher in South Korea. Prior to pivoting towards education, Elizabeth was a grassroots and community organizer working to reduce the use of pesticides, wrestle the control of water away from corporations, and reduce over-fishing. She earned her Master in Public Administration from New York University and her BA in International and Environmental Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
