Brittney Jackson was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She attended Oakland public schools K-12 and graduated from Oakland Technical High School. After high school, Brittney went on to receive her BA in Psychology and Minor in Legal Studies from UC Santa Cruz. As a post-graduate, she found great joy serving communities and working for organizations that promote social equity. Brittney has worked for the YMCA of the East Bay in multiple roles revolving around health, wellness, and education. Brittney also worked for Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco and Lincoln Families in West Oakland. Brittney has worked in the Development field for almost two years where she’s helped raise critical funding for children and families impacted by poverty and trauma in Alameda and Contra Costa County.
