Webinar: Money Matters: Understanding and Advocating for Educational Equity and Justice in CA’s 2019-2020 State Budget

Newly-elected Governor Gavin Newsom recently released his January 2019-2020 State Budget proposal, one of the first important reflections of his education policy priorities. As the budget process continues, advocates have an opportunity to engage in the process to ensure the education proposals are as equitable as possible. Our webinar covers the following topics:

  • What are the Governor’s education budget proposals for this year?
  • What will the budget process look like from this point until it’s finalized in July?
  • What opportunities are there for advocates to engage in the process and influence the final budget?
